The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

I've tried to remain connected via helping out current students with THON 2K8, football games, concerts, staying informed & telling everyone who'll listen of all the great opportunities a Penn State education offers etc. I've also tried to make my Alma Mater proud in my random acts of volunteering & philanthropy when I can afford to give what I have at the time and by trying to make a difference in the Federal Civil service world while working for the US Navy. Overall I think my adult life is by far more well off than my childhood days but it has been harder than I thought to get out of the living paycheck to paycheck trap. I do still see the potential ahead for myself & my country to have a great future ahead if we could only put our heads together, using our educations & God given common sense to live with what we can afford and not our societal life style trends....Thank you Penn State for increasing my armory to give me a fighting chance at a better life for myself, my family, our country & the world in need.
